Small, locally owned farm where honey is produced from local wildflowers and trees such as locust, basswood, poplar and sourwood. Its taste and texture varies by season and location of the hives. All honey is natural. Poor Valley also offers a variety of beekeeping supplies and equipment, including assembled Langstroth beehive kits, supers, frames, beekeeping suits and accessories. Packaged bees are sold each spring and queen bees are for sale throughout the season.
